In our music video, the protagonist is a young teenage girl who happens to be concerned with whats going on in the society. Typically, teenage girls don't care much about what is happening around them they are usually just involved in focusing on their looks etc. Breaking the stereotypical image, Mahnoor is a girl who is upset with the current situation of a country and wants to break the unhappiness and discontent in the society; she goes in search of hope.
The way we plan to show the girl is similar to the look of Jamie in A walk to Remember with her hair tied back and casual/ everyday clothing which gives off an extremely personalized feel to the music video and signifies that the emotions are real and not made up.
In comparison to this, we see that generally teenage girls have no worries about society but themselves and are carefree and fun loving- they do not go into the depth of why a certain aspect of society is in a particular way. Hence, we feel that with our music video we are in a way breaking the stereotype of what a 14-15 year old girl is like.
